I LOVE Thai food. Pad Thai is probably my favorite dish whenever I indulge in this because, well, noodles, chicken, peanut sauce???!!! You can’t beat it.
Yum. I’m starting to get hangry.
I also loved Thai Iced Tea. So I decided to create my own at home. It was so good. Even my husband loved it. That means success people. Those of you with picky hubbies know what I mean. *ahem*
Thai Iced Tea
1/2 cup boiling hot water
1 Caffeine free Sweet Coconut Thai tea bag
3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Stevia to taste
Follow the directions to make tea. I steeped mine in hot water for 6 minutes. The longer it sits, the deeper the flavor. I like my tea to taste good….not just like hot water. Ha!
After steeping has finished, take out tea bag and put in stevia.
Add lots of ice, almond milk (or milk of your choice…coconut milk would be great too!), then add tea.
Grab a good book and ENJOY! So good!!! And perfect for this summer too!
You can probably make this as a protein shake as well. Follow the directions above and add protein powder of your choice (I love Perfect Fit and Designer Whey…or for a more nutritional boost, try Greenberry or Vegan tropical strawberry Shakeology).
Blend and go!
