Kale & Coconut Goodness

As I try to combat sugar and educate myself more on the nations’s addiction to sugar, I have also had to pay close attention to what I put in my green smoothies.

I am a HUGE lover of fruit, but even I noticed that I tend to grab for fruit first (which does contain sugar, remember, sugar is sugar no matter what form) before a veggie.

So I am branching out a lot more ;).

Today I made this smoothie using my favorite all natural, superfood supplement. Because it is low glycemic and there are no artificial sweetners or crazy fat burners, it is perfect for those who are looking to control their sugar intake.

Here is the smoothie I made today. Contains Kale and coconut oil….and it is so good!

Kale & Coconut Goodness

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
Handful of Kale
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp powdered peanut butter

Blend and enjoy! And of course take a photo! 😜
